Tony “Jack the Bear” Mantz has been busy mastering projects for New York outfit The Neighbourhood (who scored a deal with BBC1), UK producer Hedflux, Ash Grunwald, Sketch Club (produced by Steve Shram), Syncretia, Neon Heart, Planet Jumpers, Empire of Doom, Oh Pacific, Polyfonik, James fRew, Canada’s Dirty Radio, Stupid Dancer, Hands High, Bass Kleph, Secret Tsunami, The Immigrant, Garcon Garcon, The Jane Austen Experiment, and Chris Arnott.

Projects mastered by Adam Dempsey include albums for Pony Face, Sabrina and the Red Vans, Dan The Underdog (NT), the Julius Schwing Quartert (TAS), as well as releases for Gossling, Jen Cloher, Lisa Salvo, Seth Sentry, The Little Sisters, Michael Plater, The Teskey Brothers, Vague Cuts, Zac Brennan, new tracks for British India and vinyl prep for The Death Rattles and The Fearless Vampire Killers.

We’d like to take a moment to congratulate a few of our mastering clients over recent news:

The Neighbourhood, who’ve scored a deal with BBC1 in the UK and are getting quite a bit of airplay (and with an EP out in March); local lads The Fearless Vampire Killers, who’ve had their single ‘For You and Me’ featured on the comeback US tv series 90210 (their debut album Batmania is also due for limited release on 12 inch vinyl); and The Orbweavers, who garnered a special commendation in the running for the Australian Music Prize with their acclaimed second album ‘Loom’, and having played sell-out shows in Melbourne to mesmerised audiences.

Also, a word for Owl Eyes & Gossling who did well in Triple J radio’s Hottest 100 as voted by listeners.

Gearing up for springtime in Australia’s music capital, Tony “Jack the Bear” Mantz has been mastering releases for The Fuzzbirds, Blind Munkee, Cave of the Swallows, Dirty Radio, Jonesez, Brackets, Thrall, Larry K (mixed by James Frew), Bitter Sweet Kicks, The Irresponsibles, Radio Ink, Rainshadow, Burgworth, The Sunny Days, The Hired Guns, new Jessica Mauboy single (remixed by US producer Rac), a live album for Autumn Gray (Canada) complete with 40 piece symphony orchestra and mixed by Jimi Maroudas, and new album for Jeff lang including a bonus disc of live tracks and rarities.
