Finally I have a few minutes to post about some awesome bands and news about them.
The Eternal is first up – an incredible band that I will be mastering. Check them out: www.myspace.com/theeternalband. These guys are a combination of many of my favorite bands… Lep Zep, QOTSA, Tool, Rage Against The Machine, Soundgarden etc.
Jeff Martin from The Tea Party produced The Eternal and I reckon if they get signed they could be a massive export for us in Oz.
Congratulation to Howl www.myspace.com/thehowlmusic who have 3 tracks from their debut EP added to TripleJ regular rotation… that’s extraordinary and I’ve never heard of any band in recent times achieve something like that.
Matt Van Schie has a new single out and I had the pleasure of mastering tunes for a 7″ release, mixed by Rich Sanford who recently worked on a track for The Michael Jackson foundation… no mean feat.
